| | january 2010 release ; after a string of very impressive tapes (for hotness-oriented imprints like not not fun, digitalis, 905, jk, cut hands, arbor, etc ...) of their trademark blend of machine-music whomp and mystery sonics, i cant help but be a little let down by the largely ironic, song oriented goings-on herein (even if the extended, misted skeleton of a punk delivers on a more lateral front - listen to the sound-sample) ... |
