| german reissue of this 1977 turkuola plak compilation of mid-70s singles / odds & ends by baris manço & kurtalan ekspres ... given the 5 years between this & dünden bugüne, the sound/instrumentation has changed fairly drastically ; allowing in both synths (some tasty moog lines throughout) & almost proto-tsop strings, but some of all-time favorite anadolu singles are here, peppering the b-side (listen to the sound-sample for a prime example of the kind of traditional-turkish-instrumentation-meets-70s-choogle these records can offer) ...
typically excellent mastering/pressing, if a little on the pricey side ... |
