these strangely cinematic and abrasive droning landscapes of impending doom made up from analog synths are the work of david reed, for some perhaps known from the plausible luasa raelon project. the sparse, cold, minimal pieces reminds us of early industrial-era electronic artists such as maurizio bianchi and lustmord, but also gives hints to the works of klaus schulze and early tangerine dream. without doubt presenting a vile and nightmarish vision of a territory where noone can be trusted and there's nowhere to hide – this certainly is bleak post-apocalyptic music.

this material is a re-release of their first 10" which originally came out on kaos kontrol in late 1999, limited to a mere 100 copies, and as this work certainly is one of their best we promptly decided to make it available again, this time with a long bonus track recorded in 2000. undoubtedly calmer than the "golyma" lp yet still intensive experimental industrial with post-electroacoustic undertones. organically flowing drones and hypnotic, grinding loop sounds of vintage analog sound processing via old reel-to-reel tape recorders and treatments. some even time-stopping moments included here.

limited this time to 270 copies in black sleeves with cut n' pasted front and back covers.

as this title sold out in matter of weeks we thought this monster needed a re-issue - so here it comes! this time on all-filth-intact-re-mastered and cheap cd format in a small cardboard cover, much like a miniature lp.

this is the result of the collaborative work between three of the world's most militant harsh head loyalists. edwige combines the filthy brutality of texas' mania, the unflinching noise-wall onslaught of canada's the rita, and the ferocious harsh noise purity of sweden's sewer election.

edwige is a savage, testosterone-fueled tribute to the one and only edwige fenech -- all time queen of european erotic and thriller cinema. we are very proud to present this lp, filled with the sleaziest filth-ridden walls of noise possible. the grooves of this vinyl are encrusted with pure hellish sonic ugliness of the highest order.

this track by the incapacitants was originally intended for a compilation on lasse marhaug’s jazzassin label a few years back. for some reason this never appeared and we thankfully got this in our shaky but amused hands. so, what did we get? a weak an’ol’ japanese couple bursting out with a singalong? hell no. this is a trustworthy show-off in approach. the standard trademark frenetic vocals, yes. an intense organic and thick pile of nonsensical bodymassage from start to end, yes. fuck it, the pure energetic electronic sound of toshiji mikawa and fumio kosakai remains unrivalled to this day and you can never get enough wiping out your state of being.

dan johansson, the man behind the moniker sewer election has gained quite a lot of attention in the noise community the last years. perhaps not for reinventing the genre (who’s interested in that anyway?) but fittingly licking the balls of frustration forward into perfection. this particular track shows a continuation of his latter day style = a monotonous noise wall intertwined with serious brainmelting stasis, skipping the intense cut-up style of the early days altogether. as fine as a bottle of bäska droppar, rippled with metamphetamine from the gutter.

oh, let’s not forget the usual unnecessary information section: first intended as a split 10”, however we all agreed the extreme nature of these sounds demanded nothing less than a 12” vinyl on 45 rpm for a maximum quality experience. color covers, 500 copies pressed. enjoy!

here it is: the first segerhuva compilation, a massive 74-minute budget priced cd with a 20-page booklet in jewelcase. the cd is filled from beginning to end with a strong and exciting line-up of both well known and newer groups, mainly from sweden, but also with contributions from finland and japan. we are thrilled to be able to present a solid mix of sounds, from the most punishing ultra-harsh electronics, via the primitively thuggish all the way to the cocktail-sipping arty. yes, we have room for all -- please join the party.

"sweetness will overcome" features a wide range of artists making it a diverse and interesting affair. our tribute to a stagnating but in a strange sense healthy scene! without further preaching: all tracks are new and exclusively recorded for this compilation, all served with pleasure and pain.

this cd sees origami replika (a now defunct part of the ever changing origami cultural collective/phenomenon) made up by three of norway's most diehard noiseheads -- lasse marhaug, tore h. bøe, and mads staff jensen. recorded in 1997, this effort is entirely based on sound sources from the back catalogue of merzbow. with no back-bending, knee-scraping humility, and with a pure love for all source sounds, origami replika have shaped classic merzbow sound into all-new compositions. these are innovative and highly potent re-workings of the harsh soundwaves, recommended to all those who still have a healthy addiction to the merzbow sounds of yesterday. thick and meaty, the blasts emanating from the speakers is filled with lusty, fetishized, organic heavy noise and experimental dadaism, ready to be devoured by the faithful disciples.

originally planned for release on another label, and now finally unleashed on segerhuva, this is a cd that has been tried and tested over and over again. these recordings, created almost a decade ago, have been remastered by lasse marhaug, and it is safe to say that this cd has stood the test of time. after nine years, it sounds remarkable -- a solid chunk of the classic, living breathing noise object that some call religion.

bottom line -- the noise fetish is still very much alive and well. this time it comes from a somewhat unexpected source. indulge!
