| extremely great price on this late 2005 release from the opalio brothers, released on the chicago-based rococo records label in 2005 ...
i have to admit that i’d all but ignored the flurry of top-dollar artifacts from this duo, mostly in splits-ville arrangments with the avant-rock elite... but sharing the stage with them in lisbon back in 2005 opened my eyes/ears to their sonic possibilites... they work a decidedly urban variant on the whole father yod/hang-glider death mythos in a pleasing way & should not be ignored by those who, like me, often ignored groups with massive discographies. |
