first in a series of composer/designer collaborations curated by odradek, himiko is a construction kit for a quadrophonic sound piece presented by formatt at galerij jan colle (ghent, belgium) in januari 2007. each disc contains a separate layer of sound with distinct characteristics in dynamics, density and transparency.
typographer and graphic designer allon kaye (entr'acte) bagged, labelled and folded each set into its own unique origami container, effectively combining diy with mass production aesthetics.
