... while i callously disregarded the majority of tg’s oeuvre & associations throughout the entirety of my early-adult life, i now (thanks to geoff’s incredulous gasps urged on by the topic of my previous apathy towards these records) see them as incredibly important & just insanely forward-looking / tunnel-vision-having, existing at the crossroads of just so many areas of music that are vital to this place ...
... there’s simply no shame in admitting you haven’t heard these records thusfar, nor in coming to the same conclusion(s) i have (namely, that, when taken purely as sound-documents, devoid of their cultural & cult-ish / social signifiers, they’re entirely bad-ass records) ... |

| tg vinyl rereleases on 26th september 2011 ir will release a series of deluxe vinyl editions of the following tg titles:
the second annual report of throbbing gristle d.o.a. the third & final report of throbbing gristle throbbing gristle's heathen earth throbbing gristle bring you… 20 jazz funk greats throbbing gristle's greatest hits
each album will be an edition of 2000 copies.
chris carter has remastered the audio and the lp's come packaged with an 8 page full colour booklet featuring some previously unpublished photos, press reviews from the time, and other visual ephemera from the industrial records archive.
