the intergalactic reach-out to / wards the infinities of yonder / ness, other / ness and an / otherness has motivated the propulsion within sun ra's music of the spheres, and this music as now heard re / presents the on / ness of now. a fore-music, the music of sun ra and his solar-myth arkestra circles and spirals that touch up/on the areas of myths that separate our awareness of now and other-times ... and the realities of sun ra's music include a timeless / ness that simulates the same natural presence and pre-sense of air.
and sun ra himself points out... "the air is music" and here he presents a new / er-air.

with an invitation to travel along on the tuned-in vibrational beam of this music, we visit, sense, feel, and see sound spectra opening up the seas of awareness and be-in that await us in space and the universes.
the pyramids stand to continually remind us that we are living in the space age, and as "the satellites are spinning", we approach "the utter nots", the "realm of lightning", "ancient ethiopia", and seemingly "strange worlds". for those, who ...
"find earth boring just the same old, same thing",
sun ra, cosmic explorer and space pilot, confirms the charts of the journey to out there. "i am playing intergalactic music, because it is of the natural infinity of the eternal universe eternal eternal ... it is of the universes, as all the universes together make another kind of universe. intergalactic music concerns the music of the galaxies ... it concerns intergalactic thought and intergalactic travel, so it is of the realm of the impossible. there is a need for that type of being-ness upon this planet at this time.
reality has touched against myth / humanity can move to achieve the impossible / because when you've achieved one impossible, the others/come together to be with their brother, the first impossible / borrowed from the realm of the myth/happy space age to you". sun ra' s music is not just new music. it is an /other-music ... nature-music ... are-channeling of the energy-winds of the cosmos. this musik with its space chords and sound energy-sunbursts that "fill" space and silence, opens up a communication-channel with / in the arkestra, to / for the listener ... evoking all the natural senses of being inside a panoramic-motion-picture, set in and with / in space with an outer / other imagery of moving space, space-being / s and being / ness. the music thus communicates the interrelation of this planet with the cosmic system.
"i (sun ra) cannot reitorate that this music is of precision-discipline.
in the same way that i had to seek to be proficient in the mastery of it, so those who seek to find out the relationship of the music to themselves must really hear this music under the proper circumstances ? this music is of the realm of the alter-destiny".
