[008] the hafler trio "the water has no hair to hold on to" 10" vinyl limited edition of 500 copies!

dekorder is proud to release a brand new and very limited release by the hafler trio aka andrew mckenzie from iceland. this is the 2nd release in a series of 10"s for dekorder (the 1st is sold out). mckenzie is one of the most influential sound artists of the last 20 years and has recorded for touch, staalplaat, soleilmoon, die stadt as well as transforming the voices of jonsi birgisson (sigur ros), blixa bargeld, michael gira, bjork, david tibet (current 93) and collaborating with autechre among others.

this 10" is a strictly limited edition of 500 copies with gold ink print on sleeve, inner sleeve and labels, pressed on clear vinyl, cut by dubplates&mastering.

received from completely over the rainbow just after the ends of several things, spring 2004 at the g*d facility, reykjavík, and several other locations not on standard maps.well, not yet.

when we make a room ready, it's not a given that the appointment will be kept. furthermore, what used to happen in the old days, and will now start to happen again, is that random visitors will appear. it's only natural after all. so when this particular slice of tangerine was severed from the tree, it had purposes that were commensurate with that particular time: but now we gaze on the visage of something bigger than had at first been anticipated. revel in the ending that gave way to a beginning, although the path is not yet clear. there are no methods used here - but there are more things to tell when the bus reaches the terminus. as it will on completion of this piece of homework.
