| may 2012 release ; ... really great set of non-denominational sound-music by suzy “pod blotz” poling, which, in equal degrees, reminds me of the “forbidden planet” soundtrack, a really good black sabbath bootleg cassette played back at roughly 0.9375 ips, the more terrifying parts of ruth white’s oeuvre, and, oddly, the taste of pomegranates ...
... as far as tapes of zappy, noisy synth-chug & gonked tape-music go, this rates amongst my favorites heard thusfar this year ; highly recommended !!! |

white...black...spectrum infinity, is collection of careful synth work, swelling organ, pulsating rhythms, transfixing tones and ethereal vocals. this work describes a journey, an electrical lava bath, a desolate room slowly lifting into another realm and a sonic battle in space. this is electronic drone music with melodic structuring, in depth tape manipulation and experiments.
these songs, arrangements and compositions were made between 2010 and 2012. |
