| | subtle's delayed 12" "the long vein of the law" ep was due out on lex in march. the subtle tour bus crashed back february, severely injuring dax pierson and the whole tour was cancelled. several months on - dax is in a rehabilitation centre in texas and subtle are playing sonar and quart festivals this summer and the postponed ep is finally getting a release.
the 12" only ep will be out in europe in mid june and out in america on 12th july.
"the long vein of the law" ep features the title track (taken from subtle's album "a new white") plus a collaboration with mike patton on "long voice of the law " and a new song called "i [heart] la 2" plus "the long vein of the law" instrumental.
there's also a brand new sssr produced and directed video for the lead track. sssr made the video for subtle's last single "f.k.o." too (see the article and link to the quicktime video of "f.k.o." below), that video is in the 2005 one dot zero festival (the video appears in the programme called wavelength 05). |
