here we have the reissue of the edition-of-27 shmf lp “il portale delle indipendenti” wherein mama bär’s pitted up against schimpfluch heavy rudolf eb.er (a sympathetic collaborator if there ever was one...), plus addendum materials from r&g (included a live blast featuring raionbashi.)

march 2008 release ; reissue of this 1995 schimpfluch tape, featuring a “three way” collaboration between maso “masonna” yamazaki (aka space machine) and rudolf eb.er’s runzelstirn & gurgelstøck (with sudden infant’s joke lanz guesting ; so, yes, technically it is a three-way) ...

amazing, pregant-pause laden harsh noise-improv squall ; never heard anything else quite like it outside of maso & rudolf’s solo (dna) contributions ... definitely one of those rare “greater than the sum of its parts” moments !!!

first published as tape/object by schimpfluch / coquette in 1995 in an edition of 33 copies. masonna and r&g studio and live-actions material with guest-appearance by joke lanz (sudden infant) edited & mixed by rudolf eb.er at schimpfluch-commune int., zürich (track 1) and maso yamazaki at acty hanazono, osaka (track 2). remastered by rudolf eb.er at hate operations, osaka, 2007. fullcolour cover & disc. edition of 600 copies.

ugh - just a horrible cover, made worse by the pink compact disc inside the case (almost as if rudolf was going for a kind of teenage pin-up kind of thing, but then putting that photo of him with his face all fucked up on the cover shoots that theory in the jowl.)

sound-wise, it’s classic schimpfluch - white-hot static blasts and a bit of random, room-tone scrabbling recorded “at the mental hospital.” clearly following in the footsteps of muehl/nitsch/et.al. worth it...
