december 2007 release; a 500-copy limited lp reissuing a 2005 collective jyrk 3”cdr (the piece on the b-side) along with a new / never-been-heard-before piece from late last year (the a-side) from the quartet of c. spencer yeh & mike shiflet (aka burning star core) and gms & pete swanson (aka d. yellow swans). lovely maroon swirly vinyl to boot :: this could have easily wandered into clusterfuck territories fresh out da gate (the two duos, respectively, produce their fair share of sound) - thankfully the participants are given room to stretch out a bit; the individual instrumental elements (violin, guitar, & vocals, space-electronics...) quite discernible throughout as the quartet summon up wave after wave of rusty electric drones & creepy, 11th hour smoke ...
