| | | brainwashed (usa) #brain 009 ep meat beat manifesto “radio free republic b/w lovefingers” seven inch single record - radio free republic
- lovefingers
| a side: a nice slab of mid-tempo aleatoric break-based extrapolation; almost like a paleozoic / pre-artificial intelligence autechre coupled with the washy jazz & arcanum samplings of a venetian snares record (without the scatology/guilelessness, plus the beats are nowhere near as intricate), with bits of atomic-age bloopery & very well produced/punishing sub-bass thrown in for floor-play.
b side: a silver apples cover (no less), replete with vocals & found-dialogue, recorded live in concert on september 28th, 1996 at thte filmore, san francisco. starts out like the original, descends quickly into an overloaded organ & theremin/ems synthi freakout (actually; the majority of the track... i’m starting to like this dangers guy...)
super-thick czech republic pressing on grey vinyl with a full-color jacket. |
