| | slightly lower price. electro-acoustic free improv trio session as released on a new label run by eric mattson (some of you may know him through his involvement w/the yearly mutek fest in montréal). kaffe, long one of my favorite all-around musicians, and certainly the first person i ever witnessed using a portable computer to process sound in a live setting, sounds immaculate herein, her lisa-driven bleepage cutting a rift through tétreault’s modified turntablism and “small electronics”, plus léon lo’s effected violin. a masterclass really, certainly essential if you’ve found resonance amongst any of the solo works by these three denizens... |
