february 2008 release ; a mammoth triple-disc set of stasis-heavy electronic work from god’s bryan eubanks. imagine a more toned-down variant on maryanne amacher’s “inside-your-head” lineage psycho-acoustic tone combinations and you’re halfway there ...

incidentally; great use of repurposed record covers (you may recognize the cat to your left from the cover of carole king’s “tapestry” - the pulse emitter disc below from yes’ “going for the one” [score !!!]) on these last releases on mike shiflet’s long-running gameboy label; always one of my favorites & a shame to see it go ...

desired climate works 2006-2007 3xcdr

over the course of three 70+ minute discs, bryan eubanks breaks from the minimalist improvisations he's known for in the duo god and around the nyc community. instead he presents dense, engulfing sound fields that toy with ideas about space inside the track, the room, and the head, works that simultaneously smother and exhilarate, satisfy and stifle.

this 3xcdr set is an edition of 100. it comes packaged in a homemade digipack cut out of recycled lp covers (with actual digipack trays).

this was listed previously as being on little enjoyer - it is in fact a split release on both gameboy and little enjoyer...

just an excellent disc from the duo of leif erik sundström (percussion) & bryan eubanks (normally on wind instruments, but here working with electronics; tape machines, self-styled feedback systems) - it’s either an immaculately conceived freely improvised work or a meticulously consctruced electro-acoustic one... either way; damn impressive.

co-released this with jyrk & little enjoyer & wish i was able to do more to convince everyone how rad and essential this group is. i had taken to referring to them as "amm filtered through crust punks" but after meeting them & seeing how truly un-crust they are, i can only describe them as "amm filtered through adventurous, foward-thinking young gentlemen" but that doesn't do them much justice. you'll be hearing more & more from these boys - together and individually - real soon.
