recorded during the early winter of 2010, this is a document of three unique individuals combing their skill and experience into a improvisational piece. the personnel for this recording is daren ho of driphouse, suzy poling of pod blotz, and marcia bassett of zaimph. the result is a heavy and slow meditating movement of electronics.

april 2010 release ; really quite nice tape of floating electronics from darren ho (the first in what will hopefully be a long, winding stream of said over the next few years - i hear he’s got one in the works for agents of chaos) ... has a lovely, hand-played feel throughout, rifling in & out of a buncha different avenues, rife with pregnant pauses & stray bits of harpsichord & acoustic piano ; like a non-sequenced variant on the berlin school axis, far from “flowing” ...

october 2011 release ; daren (ho) ‘s been on a tear over the past few months since relocating to brooklyn from iowa ... this set was available for a blip as a root strata tape, but works wonderfully here on vinyl as a series of short, “library” -style electronic miniatures that utilize synths, yes, but also some light piano drippings & tonnes of rhythmic white-noise punctuations that nestle things somewhere between “program music” & a kind of industrial collage ... super ace & one of the best things he’s done ...
