something far stranger. debut release by welsh duo the compass rose. odd "musical" collage and speech contributed by jack gilbert (baronic wall, paul ballance, dve). songs about the end of humans, whole wheat and david bowie's awful carpet. hypnotic, confusing and terrifying. a huge combination of various elements, ideas and time unleashed on this release that certainly doesn't belong anywhere i've ever been before. |
